3. Calendar Integrations (Google & Microsoft Outlook)

   As part of our workforce management features, Managewise integrates with both Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar to sync schedules, shifts, and availability. This integration allows users to automate event creation and updates, reducing manual calendar management.

   We request the following permissions to enable seamless scheduling and calendar synchronisation:

   Google Calendar Permissions

   • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar (Full calendar access)
   • Allows Managewise to sync work schedules, shift assignments, and availability directly into a user’s Google Calendar.
   • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events (Manage events)
   • Enables automatic creation, updating, and deletion of work-related events within a user’s Google Calendar.
   • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly (Read-only access)
   • Allows users to import their Google Calendar events into Managewise for scheduling visibility, without modifying them.

   Microsoft Outlook Calendar Permissions

   • Calendars.ReadWrite (Full calendar access)
   • Allows Managewise to sync work schedules, shift assignments, and availability directly into a user’s Outlook Calendar.
   • Calendars.ReadWrite.Shared (Manage shared calendars)
   • Enables automatic creation, updating, and deletion of work-related events in shared Outlook calendars.
   • Calendars.Read (Read-only access)
   • Allows users to import their Outlook Calendar events into Managewise for scheduling visibility, without modifying them.

   How We Use Your Calendar Data

   • Work Schedule Syncing – Employees can auto-sync shifts, meetings, and time-off requests to their calendar (Google or Outlook).
   • Event Automation – When shifts or time-off requests are approved, Managewise updates the selected calendar accordingly.
   • Calendar Importing – Users can view their existing calendar events within Managewise to avoid scheduling conflicts.

   User Consent & Control

   • Users must manually authorise calendar access within Managewise.
   • At any time, users can revoke access via their Google or Microsoft Account Settings.
   • Managewise does not store calendar data—it only syncs in real-time upon user request.
   This ensures transparency, user control, and compliance with both Google and Microsoft policies while offering a seamless scheduling experience.

We process your data for the following purposes:

We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share it with:

1. Service Providers: Third-party IT, cloud storage (e.g., Supabase, Google Cloud)
2. Payment Processors: Stripe (for transactions)
3. AI Assistant (Wiser): Uses OpenAI for intelligent automation
